Headsets are getting more common, nearly every time I go into Starbucks I see someone wearing a headset and talking away on it. Despite my being in the headset business, I'm not sure how great people look chatting away in line for coffee with a headset on their head. Nevertheless I'm looking for pointers to famous people wearing headsets, or movies in which people are wearing headsets. Please provide any links or names of movies with details of where I might find the headset usage. Corded, wireless or Bluetooth headsets are all okay here. Appreciate any help from my readers. Thanks!

The Plantronics CS50 makes an appearance in Fun With Dick And Jane. Tea Leoni is a travel agent, and she wears her CS50 throughout the early part of the movie.

Hi Mike
I know how passionate you are about Headsets and all of what a Headset says about the user. I can rememember talking with you about my headset and how I really needed a headset that gave me more flexibility. You suggested the Plantronics CS50 and you also pointed out to me that a state-of-the-art headset like the CS50 says a lot about it's user.
Well that really is the case in Russell Crowe's new movie "A Good
Year". He plays a high powerred entrepeneur/ executive - a very
successful "big money" man and low and behold - he wears what I am certain is a Plantronics CS50 headset - just like the one that you recommneded for me.
So there you go - it isn't just "the clothes that maketh the man" - it's his headset too!
All the best and thanks again for a great headset

Ever watch 24 on Fox? Half of the episodes last season featured the Voyager 510 headset from Plantronics. I can't remember the characters name but he was one of those "in the shadows" governement types.

Just the other day i caught 10 minutes of the movie, Two for the Money, with Matthew McConaughey and Al Pacino. Matthew's character is wearing a Plantronics CS50 while at work.
Also, on the Showtime series, HUFF, Oliver Platt's character is constantly using a Plantronics CS50 in his law office throughout the first season.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for some other instances of headset usage in the movies or on TV. I watch both of those enough to probably inundate you with more examples than you need. :)

Frankly, I disapprove of people chatting on their cellphone headset while they order coffee. The guy serving the coffee deserves our 100% attention for those 30 seconds when we expect him to give us his 100% attention. It's a matter of common courtesy, good manners and consideration for others, which is pretty fair description of civilization. Or maybe civilization ends when we enter Starbucks. There's a thought!
